Joey Layug joined Holy Spirit in 2023 as Assistant for Liturgy and Music.  In this role she helps prepare liturgically meaningful baptisms and Masses. “What keeps me working here is the amazing liturgical experiences with the staff, the volunteers and parishioners,” she says.

Prior to joining the staff working at Holy Spirit, she was in a similar role at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Joey grew up in California and moved to Las Vegas to be closer to family. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and exploring new parks with her husband and children. Her family will also challenge each other to board games when the Las Vegas desert temperatures keep them indoors.
